The Role

As a Pension Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering service excellence to our plan members, beneficiaries, and stakeholders. You are an effective communicator with a strong foundation in pension administration, motivated to provide timely and accurate support in a friendly and approachable manner. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team environment and is committed to continuous improvement and member engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update, maintain, and analyze member records to ensure accuracy for benefit determination and payment

  • Collaborate with Pension Administrators to locate missing or terminated plan members

  • Resolve inquiries and requests from plan members, beneficiaries, and stakeholders

  • Peer review work and contribute to the development of benefit administration policies and communication strategies

  • Maintain benefit information systems and ensure compliance with applicable legislation

  • Conduct one-on-one meetings and provide counsel regarding plan entitlements

  • Prepare and distribute clear, accurate, and timely communications on benefit calculations

  • Participate in pension information and education sessions

  • Process benefit calculations and ensure compliance with plan provisions and legislation
