Seeking Part-Time Caregiver, working Monday to Friday 8:45 am-1:30 pm in our Childcare Centre.

The Winnipeg Winter Club is dedicated to providing exceptional childcare for our members and community. Our Babysitting Centre is a warm, welcoming space that supports children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age whose parents are on site while they visit.

We pride ourselves on offering a clean, safe, and nurturing environment tailored to each child's unique needs while maintaining strong, open communication with parents. Our team is passionate about creating meaningful, play-based experiences that promote learning, creativity, and development.

We are currently seeking a positive, energetic, and caring individual to join our team as a Part-Time Caregiver, working Monday to Friday 8:45 am-1:30 pm in our Childcare Centre.

Hours are subject to change based on operational needs.

About Us:

The Winnipeg Winter Club is a private recreational facility located in the heart of Winnipeg. Our Babysitting Centre operates 7 days a week and provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Loves working with children and creating a joyful, supportive environment
  • Understands the importance of patience, empathy, and structure
  • Has the ability to develop and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage growth and learning

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Planning and facilitating engaging activities
  • Feeding and meal assistance
  • Diapering and toilet training support
  • Imaginative play and creative expression
  • Singing, dancing, and storytelling
  • Light cleaning and organizing
  • Decorating for seasons and events
  • Assisting with administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children including infants (Minimum 2 years in professional environment)
  • Background in caregiving or early childhood education
  • Understanding of child development and teaching strategies
  • Strong communication skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification (mandatory)
  • Completion of Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks (mandatory)
