Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while performing cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, hallways, and other common areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
  • Handle heavy lifting when required to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding tasks completed or any issues encountered.

Requirements

  • Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently prioritize tasks throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and effectively.
  • Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools related to cleaning tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
