We are seeking a skilled Technical Brazing and Furnace Expert to support the manufacturing of high-performance heat exchangers. This role is responsible for overseeing brazing operations, managing furnace cycles, and ensuring product quality through precise thermal processing techniques. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in controlled atmosphere furnaces, brazing alloys, and metallurgy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain brazing furnaces (CAB, or controlled atmosphere).
- Develop and optimize brazing cycles and parameters for various heat exchanger designs.
- Troubleshoot brazing defects and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure process compliance and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of furnace operations and brazing outcomes.
- Train production staff on brazing best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in brazing and furnace operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment, and brazing materials.
- Familiarity with ISO, ASME standards related to brazing and thermal processing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
