Duties

  • Prepare and organize treatment rooms for each patient.
  • Assist the dentist chairside during all dental procedures.
  • Take digital x-rays, intraoral scans, and impressions.
  • Restock operatories and sterilization areas daily.
  • Seat patients on time and maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols.
  • Provide post-operative care instructions and ensure patient comfort.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
  • Support front office tasks as needed (confirming appointments, updating patient information).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.

Qualifications

  • Certified Level II Dental Assistant (HARP Certified) – required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Familiarity with Abeldent, Sprintray is an asset.
