Spices Okotoks is actively seeking new applicants for a wait staff position at our Indian fine dining restaurant. Applicants must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus at least 1 weekday, the ideal candidate would be able to work evenings 6 days a week. Applicants should be confident in taking customer orders over the phone, online and in person, they should understand the basic workings of a restaurant including how to serve and clear tables, they should be capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. Bartending, and some minor food prep will be involved in this job. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE (or shortly turning 18 as this job will require handling alcohol and therefore pro-serve certification.)

Requirements:

  • Serving/Restaurant Experience,
  • Flexible Availability
  • 18 years of age (or soon to be 18) with a valid Pro-Serve
  • Some bartending knowledge or willingness to learn
