We are seeking a seasoned Operational Engineer to join our strong and passionate team of individuals and assist us in maturing our environment management and targeting various cloud and on-premises platforms.

Position Responsibilities:
Work with Server and Cloud based technical architectures, solution migration strategies, and assist engineering on application optimizations.
Contribute to the design and deployment of infrastructure on Server and Cloud through manual, automation tooling and processes for operations.
Upgrade infrastructure, software, and technologies to latest currency
Be an authority in the technical domain and perform fixing to resolve technical inquiries
Be a great teammate who communicates effectively and takes initiative to collaborate with individuals from various departments.
Take ownership of environment management tasks and be accountable and see the same through to completion.
Participate in project planning meetings to share your knowledge of system options, risk, impact, and benefits.
Be part of a leading team that paves the path for others through investigations and Proof of Technologies around tools, code management, reporting, server and cloud-based infrastructure.
Participate in discussions and contribute to the infrastructure practices and conventions across the company.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years operational experience in Server support, upgrades configurations, and implementations
Customer service approach
Networking knowledge
Knowledge of server platforms (Windows, Linux, AIX)
Familiarity with database technologies in cloud such as (MSSQL, Oracle, OpenEdge )
Preferred Qualifications:
IT operations experience (ITIL, ITSM)
Development experience
Familiarity in DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Experience in Microsoft Azure and AKS or other similar cloud technologies.
Familiarity with standard IT security practices.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Jenkins, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell

Salary range is expected to be between
$75,880.00 CAD - $140,920.00 CAD
