National Director, Supply Chain

Provide strategic leadership for the site's OEM Storage and kitting programs within large, multi-site organization with high seasonality. This executive role ensures operational excellence, financial performance, and compliance while fostering a high-performance and quality culture. The National Director acts as the primary internal leader for storage and kitting programs operations at the different sites, driving efficiency, ensuring business continuity, and fostering employee engagement across sites nationally.

Strategic Leadership

• Translate corporate and national strategy into site-level execution plans for the storage operations and kitting programs.
• Develop and implement operational roadmaps, capacity plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the senior authority for site governance, ensuring alignment with global standards and KPIs.
• Partner with other executives and departments to drive integrated strategies and ensure seamless execution across the organization.
• Drive flawless execution of operational plans and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee all site operations related to storage and OEM kitting: production, inventory, logistics, and quality.
• Ensure seamless coordination between internal departments (Production, Finance, Customer Service) and national leadership.
• Drive lean practices and digital transformation initiatives to optimize throughput and reduce cost.

Financial Accountability

• Own site-level P&L for kitting operations; monitor CPU, margin, and cost drivers.
• Validate pricing structures and ensure accurate billing and SAP data integrity.
• Partner with Finance to deliver accurate forecasts and manage budget adherence.

People Leadership

• Lead a diverse workforce.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement across hundreds of employees.
• Build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop leadership talent and succession plans for critical roles.

Risk & Compliance

• Implement resilience and business continuity plans for the site.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and corporate governance policies.
• Act as the escalation point for operational disruptions and crisis management.

Data & Systems Governance

• Proven success in implementing digital tools and automation to optimize process performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure SAP and CRM and master data accuracy for all components, pricing, and production transactions.
• Maintain robust governance reporting systems and dashboards for operational visibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations or supply chain leadership; 5+ years at executive level.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-site manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Supply Chain; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading large teams and managing P&L.
• Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt (asset)
• PMP Certification (asset)
