Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Auto Body Technician
for a full-time, permanent position in Burnaby, BC. This is an
LMIA-approved role
, open to qualified applicants
within Canada and overseas
.

The successful candidate will perform automotive glass installation along with general auto body repair work, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, remove, repair, and install automotive glass, including
    windshields, side windows, rear windows, and sunroofs
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and applying
    primers, adhesives, and sealants
    to ensure proper fit and sealing
  • Remove and replace auto body components such as
    panels, doors, and frames
  • File, grind, and sand surfaces to prepare for repair or refinishing
  • Mask surfaces for painting and assist with finishing work as required
  • Straighten and align vehicle frames using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Ensure all repair work meets quality and safety standards
  • Maintain a
    clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Provide professional customer service and clear communication regarding repair work

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
    in auto body repair or a related role
  • Experience with
    auto body repair and automotive glass installation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
  • Ability to follow repair procedures and safety standards
  • Trade certification is an asset but not mandatory
