We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable CODE SENSEI to join our educational team. This role involves inspiring and guiding students through coding and computer science concepts, fostering a love for technology, and supporting their academic growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, strong teaching skills, and a solid understanding of math, computer skills, and classroom management. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging coding lessons tailored to students' age and skill levels
• Support students in understanding programming fundamentals, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement
• Develop lesson plans that incorporate computer science principles aligned with curriculum standards
• Incorporate technology tools effectively to enhance learning experiences
• Collaborate with other senseis to improve instructional strategies and student outcomes

Requirements

• Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings
• Strong background in math, computer science, or STEM related fields
• Prior classroom experience is preferred, especially in special education or inclusive settings
• Excellent teaching skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with educational software or platforms
• Passion for inspiring students in STEM subjects and fostering a love for learning
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
• Relevant certifications or training in education or special education are a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week
