Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct inspections, interpret findings, and report results in accordance with company requirements.
  • Generate NDE and inspection reports.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Perform assigned duties in line with MISTRAS' core values and procedures.
  • Ensure NDE certification is up to date (CGSB UT2, MT2, PT2).
  • Carry out inspections within your certification scope.
  • Navigate within a nuclear power plant, including access to elevated platforms, confined spaces, and ladders.

Qualifications 

  • CGSB Level II (2) certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
    Nuclear Clearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain focus, and multitask efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel to site.
  • Must submit a valid driver's license, a 3-year driving abstract, and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test prior to site access.

Essential Job Demands

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
