Senior Construction Engineer / Specialist

CSG are partnered with a Battery Manufacturer supporting the search for a Senior Construction Specialist to lead and manage large-scale construction projects for a Battery manufacturing facility, focusing on industrial buildings and infrastructure. This role involves supervising construction activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, and providing technical guidance to project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering efforts for construction projects and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Supervise construction activities and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
- Review drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor quality control.
- Manage project reporting, schedules, and resources.
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering (or equivalent).
- P.Eng. or P.E. preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in construction engineering, preferably on large industrial projects.
- Experience with Design-Build projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in reading drawings, CAD, BIM, and construction management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
