Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Gas Station Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation at our gas station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with fuel purchases, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are key to success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly as they arrive at the gas station.
  • Assist customers with fueling their vehicles and provide guidance as needed.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the gas station, including the forecourt, convenience store, and restroom facilities.
  • Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly for sale.
  • Provide information about products, promotions, and services offered at the station.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism.
  • Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs to management.
  • Uphold safety standards while performing all duties.

Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with a diverse customer base.
  • Organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
