Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling food and cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for the food industry and strong customer service skills.

Duties:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Take customer orders and process payments accurately using the POS system

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, dining area, and food preparation stations

  • Handle cash transactions, including giving change and issuing receipts

  • Assist with food inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed

  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the safety of customers and staff

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow

Experience:

  • Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred but not required

  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

  • Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is a plus

  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers

  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
