Western Kia is looking for an Automotive Service Technician to join our team.

They will ensure that our customers maximize the safety and lifespan of their vehicles and have a passion for all things automotive, taking pride in providing excellent service as part of a qualified team.

What You'll Do

  • Perform vehicle diagnostics to determine the adjustments, service, and repairs required.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to complete scheduled maintenance.
  • Document services completed, including condition, cause, and remedy.
  • Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
  • Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
  • Dispose of fluids and chemicals in accordance with health and safety and WHMIS guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Service Manager as required.

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary training as an Automotive Service Technician.
  • Previous experience as a Kia technician is considered an asset.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work as part of a professional service team.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the service team and Service Manager.
  • Strong organization skills and a systematic approach to all aspects of the service process.
  • A good work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
