Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide effective acupuncture treatments to promote patient wellness, manage pain, and support overall health. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques and appropriate safety protocols
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and holistic health practices
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with medical staff to integrate acupuncture treatments into comprehensive care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques and related medical knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid certification or license to practice acupuncture in the state
- Prior hospital or clinical experience preferred, demonstrating ability to work within a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and comfort patients
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Compassionate attitude with a dedication to improving patient well-being
- Knowledge of safety standards and sterile procedures for acupuncture practice
