Since 2000, Altima Cabinet Works Ltd. has been a locally owned and operated custom cabinet manufacturer located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We provide quality cabinetry and millwork to a wide range of clients and customers both locally, across Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work under the direction of the Operations Manager, and working with the production department, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating and organizing all deliveries and installations of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive orders from the project managers and verifies information required to put into production
  • Work with the production department to establish shipping dates for jobs
  • Schedule customer deliveries with job sites and the delivery team
  • Coordinate installers for installation work and scheduling with clients at job sites.
  • Schedule material pick ups with the purchasing and shipping/receiving department
  • Receive service calls and capture information for the project managers
  • Arrange accommodation for out of town work
  • Advise the accounting department on job completion for the purpose of invoicing
  • Delivery vehicle management
  • Follow up with clients to make sure that Altima has met or exceeded expectations across all fronts.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, kitchen cabinet and/or millwork industry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to interact with management, production team, and project managers.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, ERP systems, MS Office and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of production lead times, material logistics, and installation processes

Condition of Employment

  • Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License, with access to a reliable vehicle
  • This is not a remote position, the work location is at the business location
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Schedule: Day Shift Monday to Friday

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
