We're looking for a Frontend Developer to shape Apera Forge, our browser-based simulation and development platform that redefines how vision-guided robotics are designed and deployed. Someone who loves clean code, smart design, and creating interfaces that help engineers think in 3D.
This is a frontend-first role so you'll own how users see, interact with, and trust robotics through Forge.
What You'll Actually Do
- Build modern UI components in React + TypeScript that make complex robotics workflows simple and intuitive.
- Design and refine 3D scene interactions using , helping users simulate robotic tasks before they happen in the real world.
- Collaborate with simulation, backend, and product teams to deliver workflows that bridge code, robots, and reality.
- Turn user feedback into faster, clearer, smarter experiences - simplifying the path from simulation to production.
- Contribute to Forge's architecture, scalability, and frontend performance as the platform grows globally.

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong grasp of component design, state management, and responsive UI principles
- Hands-on experience with 3D graphics or simulation frameworks or similar)
- Passion for building tools that make complex technology approachable and visual
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, iterative mindset
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with simulation, industrial automation, or design systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or AI-assisted testing tools

Straightforward Compensation, Real Growth

You'll join at the level that best matches your experience and contribution:
Intermediate Engineer (typically 3–8 years): $110,000 CAD – $145,000 CAD
Senior Engineer (typically 8–12 years): $150,000 CAD – $180,000 CAD
Principal Engineer (typically 12+ years): $190,000 CAD and above
Our total compensation range of $110,000 CAD – $190,000 CAD + per year covers these levels and includes base salary and equity opportunities.
