Overview

We are seeking a Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a background in building and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in constructing frameworks for furniture frames, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Construct and assemble wooden frameworks for upholstered furniture
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete framing tasks.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and moving materials on-site.
  • Conduct heavy lifting as necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in framing or carpentry is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the framing trade.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is highly desirable.
  • Must be capable of performing heavy lifting tasks regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
