JOB SUMMARY

  • Support brewery operations across packaging, warehouse, and production assistance
  • Hands-on, physical role in a team-oriented craft brewery environment
  • Regular daytime schedule with no rotating shifts

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with beer packaging in cans and kegs
  • Build and wrap pallets of finished product
  • Load and unload trucks for deliveries and shipments
  • Receive and check incoming goods at the loading dock
  • Move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging area and warehouse.
  • Assist brewers as needed with general production tasks
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Physically demanding role
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
  • Works well in a warehouse / brewery environment (cooler temps, wet floors, noise)
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable with basic computer use (inventory, labels, labels, simple data entry)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
  • Valid forklift permit is a strong asset

  • Previous brewery, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is an asset (but not required)

  • Comfortable communicating in English and French, verbal and written

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to regularly lift 30 lbs. from ground to shoulder high
  • Able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders
  • Able to execute reasonable safety procedures, including working with chemicals

The candidate must be self-motivated, and able to work without supervision - most importantly they should have a passion for producing the best beer possible.

  • Déplacer les matières premières et les produits finis dans l'entrepôt
  • Maintenir la propreté et l'organisation de : zone d'emballage, entrepôt, et zones de production.
  • Assister les brasseurs selon les besoins dans les tâches de production

  • Suivre toutes les procédures de sécurité, d'assainissement et de qualité

  • A l'aise pour communiquer en français et en anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit.

COMPETENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fiable et ponctuel
  • À l'aise avec l'informatique de base (inventaire, étiquetage, saisie simple)
  • Bonnes aptitudes à la communication
  • Esprit d'équipe et attitude positive
  • Capable de suivre les instructions et de travailler de manière autonome
  • Permis de chariot élévateur un atout
  • Expérience antérieure en brasserie, entrepôt ou fabrication est un atout (mais pas obligatoire)
  • Le candidat doit être motivé et capable de travailler sans supervision - il/elle doit surtout avoir la passion de produire la meilleure bière possible

LES EXIGENCES PHYSIQUES

  • Capable de soulever régulièrement jusqu'à 30 lb tout au long de la journée
  • À l'aise avec la station debout, la marche, la flexion et le levage prolongé
  • Capable de travailler dans un environnement d'entrepôt / brasserie (températures fraîches, sols mouillés, bruit)
