Responsibilities:

  • Be a brand ambassador. You are the face of the company
  • Build relationships with co-workers, families, and the community by creating trust and always acting with integrity.
  • Be accountable and take pride in the company.
  • Design and deliver childcare programs that are in line with Summit's core values and principles.
  • Continue to strive for excellence by participating in Professional Development training and being up to date on best practices in childcare.
  • Always ensure that the facility is hygienic, safe and healthy for children.
  • Be knowledgeable of and adhere to licensing standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Alberta Childcare Level 2 or 3 Certification. (We are only hiring Level 2/3 candidates for this position).
  • Comfortable with shifts scheduled between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Great personality and lots of energy - You'll need it
  • Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification.
  • Clear & Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector obtained within the last 6 months.
  • Ability to work exceptionally well in teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills (English).
