Weekend Shift - Friday to Monday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (+$5.00 shift premium) As a Plasma Table Operator, you will operate the table, manage the plate inventory, quality check the cut pieces and perform all maintenance required. Main Responsibilities Align steel plates on tableSelect program and adjust settings to suit the burning projectMake appropriate adjustments to ensure accurately burned pieces with no defectsCheck burn quality of finished pieces and re-burn defective pieces, if requiredAssure the correct quantity is burned according to the burn sheet specifications, organize and palletize burnt piecesChange out torch tips, electrodes & nozzles, as requiredUnload material from the tableShut down and maintenance of table Attributes and Skills Understand and perform safe work practicesOverhead crane training an assetMust have a strong work ethicMeticulously organized and ability to keep a clean workspaceQuick to learn new skillsStrong attention to detail Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of operating CNC burn tablesExperience using Nesting software is an asset (Messer and Sigma NEST) Physical Requirements Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs - fitness test requiredStanding on your feet for a long period of timeHave good eye to hand coordinationBe able to bend, crouch and kneel for extended periodsAbility to wear personal protective gear most of the dayRegular exposure to industrial shop hazards which require additional protection from noise, fall hazards and air quality Regular fast pace or work with tight deadlinesA medium to high stress environment due to timelines Shift Availability Weekend Shift - Friday - Monday 6:00am - 4:30pmWhen our shop is busy, overtime is scheduled and expected We Offer Competitive WagesExtended Health Care & Dental BenefitsAD&D, Life and STD Disability BenefitsEmployee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)Company supplied PPE equipmentGreat work life balanceSafety Boot AllowanceYear-round workWeekend and Overtime work availableStable careerFamily environment and company cultureApply now to join North America's premier supplier of heavy haul transportation equipment Aspen Custom Trailers is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company poised for significant ongoing growth.
