Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental services including exams, fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals, and preventive care
  • Diagnose oral health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans in consultation with patients
  • Perform routine procedures such as cleanings, prosthodontics, and minor oral surgeries as needed
  • Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and support staff to deliver seamless, high‑quality care
  • Utilize digital dental software and imaging (e.g., digital X‑rays, scanners, paperless charting)
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive strategies, and treatment implications
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from a recognized dental school, or NDEB equivalency certification for internationally trained dentists
  • Current licence and in good standing with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC)
  • 1–3 years of experience in general dentistry (new grads are welcome to apply)
  • Proficiency with digital radiography, scanners, and dental practice management software
  • Strong diagnostic, manual dexterity, and patient communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, able to foster trust and confidence
