Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team at Durham Kubota in Oshawa, Ontario. This role is vital in ensuring the reliability and performance of our diverse range of machinery, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a range of agricultural, construction, and turf equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct equipment setup and pre-delivery inspections for new units.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure quality workmanship on all repairs.
  • Collaborate with the parts and service teams to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, both in-shop and occasionally on-site.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area, following all safety and company procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as an equipment technician, heavy-duty mechanic, or related role (apprentices welcome).
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills across multiple equipment types.
  • Experience with Kubota, Stihl, or similar brands considered an asset.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
