HGC is seeking drivers who can operate and drive Trucks to transport goods and materials; ensuring safety and security of cargo; We are currently seeking experienced and professional AZ Drivers for Canada-wide runs, including local work around Cornwall and regular runs between Oshawa, Ajax, and Montreal. This is a full-time position offering steady miles, competitive pay, and a mix of long-haul and regional routes. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption; Perform pre-trip, EN-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must hold a CDL Class A and have a minimum of 2 years OTR experience
  • Clean CVOR, Abstract, excellent safety record (PSP) and good DAC
  • Clean Police Clearance
  • Pick up and deliver goods in a timely and professional manner
  • Must have Documentation Knowledge: Accident or incident reports; Trip reports; Trans-border documentation; Maintenance and repair reports; Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip); Driver logbook; Bill of lading
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility; Team player; Excellent oral communication in English ; Excellent written communication; Reliability; Organized

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Base Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
