Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician role based in Parry Sound, ON. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing medications, ensuring accurate drug distribution, managing inventory, and maintaining records. Duties will also include customer service, compounding medications, and compliance with all safety and regulatory protocols. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and maintaining high standards of patient care will be key to this position.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Pharmacy Operations, Inventory Management, and Regulatory Compliance
- Ability to assist in Dispensing, Compounding Medications, and Maintaining Accurate Records
- Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Attention to Detail with Skills in Problem-Solving and Organization
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program (or equivalent qualification)
- Familiarity with related pharmacy software systems is an asset
- Commitment to teamwork and delivering high-quality patient care
