Job Description
Systems Engineer
Location: Montreal
Duration: months
In your role, you will:
- Generate requirements, analyze, review and approve system design, oversee system integration, coordinate with various Integrated Product Teams/Suppliers, work with all departments for design, validation and verification, testing and certification, support to certification authorities.
- Assist in functional, integration, qualification, and ground/flight test of the system.
- Perform ground and/or flight test activities for Avionics systems on test rig.
Proven Ability / Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Software or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering and integration in the field of avionics.
- Knowledge of the design of aircraft systems, in particular avionics systems and Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- Knowledge of a complete development cycle from preliminary design to entry into service.
- Knowledge of the specification, design, integration, testing and certification of avionic systems.
- Knowledge of the RTCA standards DO-160, DO-178/331 and DO-254.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations (familiar with DO-326B, DO-256A, DO-255A).
