Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and a keen eye for detail, particularly in pie baking. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Your creativity and commitment to customer satisfaction will play a vital role in our bakery's success.

Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including pie, bread, pastries, and cakes.
  • Decorate cakes and other desserts according to customer specifications and bakery standards.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
  • Package finished products for display or sale while ensuring quality presentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.

Skills

  • Proficient in baking techniques and recipes, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
  • Experience in pie baking is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both baking and presentation.
