Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform a variety of dental procedures, and contribute to a positive patient experience. The Associate Dentist will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our patients' oral health through clinical expertise and compassionate service.
Duties
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.
- Utilize dental CAD/CAM technology for restorations and other procedures.
- Manage pediatric patients with specialized care tailored to their needs.
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately using electronic health records such as Curve.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth practice operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the highest quality care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Experience working with dental office management software such as Curve.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM systems for digital restorations is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain treatment options clearly to patients.
