Job Title: Carpenter

About the Role: LTS Investments is seeking a reliable and skilled, experienced Carpenter with strong residential and/or commercial construction skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for framing, drywall installation and finishing, flooring installation, siding work, and interpreting blueprints to deliver high-quality workmanship on a variety of building projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct, frame, and install structural and non-structural walls
  • Install drywall, including mudding, taping, and crack filling to a smooth finish
  • Install various types of flooring (e.g., laminate, hardwood, tile, vinyl)
  • Install exterior siding materials, including vinyl and wood
  • Read and interpret building blueprints and project specifications
  • Operate and maintain a full range of carpentry hand and power tools safely
  • Follow building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Assist with other construction activities as required

Qualifications:

  • years of carpentry experience required
  • Proven ability to perform framing, drywall finishing, Mudding, Tapping, Painting, woodworking, and flooring installation
  • Strong proficiency with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings/blueprints
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality craftsmanship
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks
  • Experience using hand tools, woodworking tools, and power tools
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and complete tasks on time
