The Material Handler – PCA is responsible for supporting production operations by building and
delivering weld and assembly kits to production lines in accordance with the daily build schedule.
This position also receives and stocks incoming parts in the Parts Control Area, maintains inventory
accuracy, and operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and hoists.
What You'll Do:
Build and deliver weld and assembly kits per the daily production schedule.
Receive incoming parts and stock them in designated racking in a timely and organized manner.
Accurately record part and kit movements in the ERP system.
Operate forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain correct part identification through use of a labeling system.
Observe and report faulty equipment operation to supervisors.
Follow all established safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal
protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in and follow proper ergonomic practices related to material handling.
Keep assigned work area clean and organized.
Provide support in other departments or areas as needed and perform additional duties as
assigned.
- Work overtime as needed.
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience:
High school education or equivalent
Experience in inventory management is preferred.
General computing skills required.
Forklift experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills to meet
deadlines.
Able to work both independently and as a team.
Ability to grasp modern technology quickly.
Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in written form.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset.
Able to adapt to new technology quickly.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching required throughout the shift.
Regular exposure to repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders.
Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmet, ear
plugs, and safety glasses.
Pay: $26.90 per hour
