Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Programs Coordinator based on-site at our Hamilton, ON office. The Programs Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects while ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals. Responsibilities include coordinating with team members and stakeholders, preparing reports and proposals, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects and foster efficient collaboration among various teams.

Qualifications

  • Project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork capabilities for interacting with diverse stakeholders and fostering collaboration.
  • Proven skills in report writing, proposal development, and documentation for project evaluation and reporting purposes.
  • Proficiency in using technology tools such as project management software, spreadsheets, and communication platforms.
  • Knowledge or experience in humanitarian work, non-profit operations, or the healthcare sector is highly valued.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, International Development, or Project Management is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hamilton, ON, and in a dynamic team environment, as well as independently.
