Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Lead and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and development to foster a high-performing environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and food safety compliance
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Enforce food safety regulations and cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with staff scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and conducting performance evaluations
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Support kitchen management tasks including food production, food handling, and ensuring efficient food service operations
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health codes and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant management highly desirable
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Prior experience in culinary roles or food industry positions is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
