SolidEarth Geotechnical Inc. has been providing exceptional geotechnical, environmental, and materials engineering consulting and testing services since 2012 and has grown to near 50 staff and three offices located in Edmonton, Lloydminster, and Cold Lake. We are actively growing our business in several practice areas of geotechnical engineering. We are a trusted supplier of services to local, provincial, and federal governments, major oil and gas companies, civil consultants, and large contractors.
Your Role in Our Success
- Lead geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for infrastructure and development projects in a broad range of geotechnical practice areas.
- Deliver high-quality technical reports and proposals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
- Drive projects from concept to completion with a focus on quality and innovation.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering, and engineering geology especially in Edmonton/Calgary and Alberta/prairie provinces.
- 10–15 or more years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering.
- P.Eng. designation in Alberta.
- Expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability and geo hazards, earthworks, ground improvement, and running/interpreting geotechnical modelling software.
- Solid technical skills to deliver high quality engineering services and reports, including geotechnical investigations, engineering designs, and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and project/client management skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and have valid driver's license.
