Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Office & Hospital Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that both our office and clinical spaces are hygienic, organized, and conducive to productivity and patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional and sanitary workspace while developing valuable skills in cleaning and maintenance.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning of office and hospital areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and outdoor trash removal.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Empty and sanitize trash bins throughout offices, patient rooms, and clinical areas.
  • Clean and prepare overnight rooms, ensuring all linens, surfaces, and equipment are sanitized and restocked.
  • Mop and disinfect hospital floors, corridors, and operating rooms in compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Wash and replace operating room (OR) curtains regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Restock essential supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and sanitizing products as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness standards, infection control, and environmental safety.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in commercial, hospital, or office environments.
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance and infection control procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers.
  • Good organizational skills and time management to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour
