Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using advanced auto body techniques. Your expertise will help ensure our customers leave satisfied with their repaired vehicles, and you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Repair and refinish vehicle bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying to restore vehicles
  • Perform MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication, and auto glass replacement as needed
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify damage and determine repair procedures
  • Maintain detailed repair records and communicate progress with team members and customers
  • Assist with auto restoration projects and vehicle assembly tasks
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven dealership experience or professional auto body repair background
  • Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal work, fabrication, and auto painting techniques
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance processes
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting, and auto glass installation
  • Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills preferred
  • Ability to perform auto body repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Mechanic experience or background in automotive repair is a plus
  • Paint experience/ability is a definite asset
