Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Warranty Administrator to join our dealership team. This role is essential in managing warranty claims, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing excellent support to both service departments and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of automotive processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to be a key part of our service operations, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Process and submit warranty claims accurately and promptly in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Review warranty documentation for completeness and compliance before submission.
  • Communicate with technicians, service advisors, and manufacturers regarding warranty approvals or discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed records of all warranty transactions and correspondence.
  • Assist in resolving warranty-related issues and follow up on pending claims.
  • Ensure all warranty paperwork is properly filed and stored for audit purposes.
  • Stay updated on manufacturer policies, procedures, and product recalls affecting warranty claims.
  • Support the service department by providing administrative assistance as needed.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, manufacturers, and customers.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and warranty procedures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer software such as MS Office Suite; experience with dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in automotive service or warranty administration is desirable but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues related to warranty claims. This role is vital for maintaining smooth operations within our service department while ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
