Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and remodeling team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, fabrication, and installation. This role involves working on diverse projects such as fixture installation, cabinet mounting, door hanging, and remodeling tasks. The will be responsible for executing detailed construction work with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality results across multiple job sites.

Duties

  • Perform construction estimating to determine project scope and materials needed
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete tasks such as drywall installation, framing, and trim carpentry
  • Install glass fixtures, cabinets, doors, and other building components with accuracy
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution
  • Execute caulking, painting, and finishing work to enhance aesthetic appeal
  • Conduct metal stud framing and drywall installation for interior walls
  • Complete remodeling projects including fixture installation and custom carpentry work
  • Assist with heavy lifting and material handling on-site to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Follow safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are maintained

Skills

  • Extensive experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and hand-held fabrication equipment
  • Strong knowledge of glass installation, fixture mounting, cabinet installation, and door hanging
  • Skilled in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and remodeling techniques
  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
  • Experience with construction site safety procedures and heavy lifting techniques
  • Maintenance Person experience is a plus for versatile project support
  • Knowledge of construction painting techniques and interior finishing work
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes related to manufacturing or custom projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various construction challenges
