The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.
Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).
Loblaw Companies Limited is looking for students to assist the Records Management department located in Brampton. The incumbent will follow standard practices, maintain client records, classify, and index records arranged in accordance with the established filing system and use of automated Records Management System. To fulfill this role, the Student will:
Accountabilities
- Sorting and Filing Business Records according to procedures, both physical and electronic copies
- Scan Business Records using Multifunctional Printers
- Apply standardized physical and electronic filename conventions to records
- Label folders and file documents as requested in storage area
- Aid in entering backlog records in the Records Management system, either in shared drives, SharePoint sites, and/or in Content Server by OpenText
- Analyze data on record information to be prepared for indexing and/or destruction
- Preparation and coordination of items to be sent to offsite storage in accordance to policies and procedures
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying and data entry lookups
- Take direction from, and support, senior team members
- Participate on special projects as required
Qualifications
- Records and Information Management study an asset
- Self-starter with Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Ability to work within a diverse team
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office – Word Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
- Advanced knowledge of Content Server by OpenText an asset
