We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to lead our Montreal Eaton Centre location. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty, customer service, and team leadership. You will manage day-to-day operations, drive sales performance, and build a high-performing, customer-focused team.
*Job Description and Responsibilities
As an Assistant Retail Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Retail Store
Manager in overseeing daily store operations, leading the team, and ensuring an excellent
shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
A. Store Operations
- Assist the Retail Store Manager in ensuring smooth store opening and closing
procedures.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean store environment.
- Help manage store inventory, including checking expiration dates, restocking, and
anticipating customer demand.
- Enforce and support company policies, ensuring staff adherence to procedures and best
practices.
B. Sales and Customer Experience
- Support the Retail Store Manager in driving sales performance and meeting store
revenue goals.
- Assist in customer service management, addressing escalated customer concerns and
ensuring positive shopping experiences.
- Promote and implement customer service programs, such as after-sales support and
membership.
- While reach personal sales, led by example in delivering excellent customer service and
coaching staff on best practices
C. Leadership, Training & Staff Development
- Assist in training new and existing team members, ensuring they understand store
policies, product knowledge, and sales strategies.
- Support the Retail Store Manager in scheduling staff shifts and managing daily team
performance.
- Provide performance feedback to employees and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Motivate and inspire the team to maintain high morale and productivity.
D. Financial & Administrative Support
- Assist in daily sales reconciliation, ensuring register accuracy and proper financial
documentation.
- Help control store expenses by maintaining budget discipline and identifying cost-saving
opportunities.
- Assist in managing payroll-related tasks such as timekeeping and attendance tracking.
E. Marketing and Merchandising
- Help implement seasonal promotions and product displays to drive sales.
- Assist in maintaining Unique Bunny's social media presence, including posting pre prepared content and Instagram Stories.
- Support online order fulfillment and coordinate digital customer service efforts.
F. Strategic Growth & Store Development
- Assist in analyzing store performance and suggesting strategies for improvement.
- Conduct market research on competitor pricing, quality, and product selection to
enhance store offerings.
- Provide feedback to the Retail Store Manager on customer preferences and trends.
G. Additional Responsibilities
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Retail Store Manager or senior
management
Note:
Please note that the wage during the probation period may be lower depending on your experience. We will assess your performance during the three-month probation and determine the raise we can offer. After you pass the probation period, you will receive a raise within the listed hourly wage range based on your performance. During the annual assessment, or based on observations by our management team, we will consider additional raises.

Description du poste et responsabilités
En tant qu'Assistant Manager de magasin, vous jouerez un rôle clé en soutenant le Retail Store Manager dans la supervision des opérations quotidiennes du magasin, la direction de l'équipe et l'assurance d'une expérience d'achat exceptionnelle pour nos clients. Vos responsabilités incluront, sans s'y limiter :
A. Opérations du magasin
- Assister le Retail Store Manager pour assurer l'ouverture et la fermeture du magasin sans encombre.
- Maintenir un environnement de magasin sûr, organisé et propre.
- Aider à gérer l'inventaire, y compris vérifier les dates de péremption, réapprovisionner et anticiper la demande des clients.
- Faire respecter et soutenir les politiques de l'entreprise, en veillant à ce que le personnel suive les procédures et les meilleures pratiques.
B. Ventes et expérience client
- Soutenir le Retail Store Manager dans l'atteinte des objectifs de vente et des revenus du magasin.
- Assister dans la gestion du service client, traiter les préoccupations des clients et assurer une expérience positive.
- Promouvoir et mettre en œuvre les programmes de service client, tels que le support après-vente et les programmes d'adhésion.
- Atteindre vos propres objectifs de vente, montrer l'exemple dans le service client et coacher le personnel sur les meilleures pratiques.
C. Leadership, formation et développement du personnel
- Assister dans la formation des nouveaux membres et des employés existants, en veillant à ce qu'ils comprennent les politiques du magasin, les connaissances produits et les stratégies de vente.
- Soutenir le Retail Store Manager dans la planification des horaires du personnel et la gestion des performances quotidiennes de l'équipe.
- Fournir un retour sur la performance des employés et signaler les problèmes si nécessaire.
- Motiver et inspirer l'équipe pour maintenir un moral élevé et une productivité optimale.
D. Support financier et administratif
- Assister dans la réconciliation quotidienne des ventes, en veillant à l'exactitude des registres et à la bonne documentation financière.
- Aider à contrôler les dépenses du magasin en respectant le budget et en identifiant des opportunités d'économies.
- Aider à gérer les tâches liées à la paie, telles que le suivi des horaires et des présences.
E. Marketing et merchandising
- Aider à mettre en place des promotions saisonnières et des présentations de produits pour stimuler les ventes.
- Aider à maintenir la présence de Unique Bunny sur les réseaux sociaux, y compris la publication de contenu préparé et les Instagram Stories.
- Soutenir la gestion des commandes en ligne et coordonner le service client digital.
F. Croissance stratégique et développement du magasin
- Aider à analyser les performances du magasin et proposer des stratégies d'amélioration.
- Effectuer des recherches sur les prix, la qualité et la sélection des produits chez les concurrents afin d'améliorer l'offre du magasin.
- Fournir des retours au Retail Store Manager sur les préférences et tendances des clients.
G. Responsabilités supplémentaires
- Exécuter toutes autres tâches assignées par le Retail Store Manager ou la direction.
Remarque :
Veuillez noter que le salaire pendant la période d'essai peut être inférieur en fonction de votre expérience. Nous évaluerons vos performances pendant les trois mois d'essai et déterminerons l'augmentation que nous pouvons offrir. Après avoir passé la période d'essai, vous recevrez une augmentation dans la fourchette salariale indiquée en fonction de vos performances. Lors de l'évaluation annuelle, ou sur la base des observations de notre équipe de direction, des augmentations supplémentaires pourront être envisagées.
