Job Description

Insight Global is looking to bring on a Quality Team Support Specialist for a large defense company for its shipbuilding portfolio in
Victoria, BC.
The ideal candidate will be required to work 5x onsite at the Dockyard. You will be working on technical documentation and ensuing that all requirements are met for the end client, DND (Department of National Defense). You will be involved in assisting with material certification along with review of object quality evidence (OQE). Some of the role will require job records inspection, analysis, audit processes and ensuring the technical documentations ensure full compliance with quality assurance and material certification requirements. You may be involved in looking at safety critical technical documentation as well as providing feedback on process improvement and related quality tasks.
This is starting as a 12 month contract.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working on technical documentation and ensuring requirements are being met within the defense sector
  • Experience supporting naval/shipbuilding tasks (preferred)
  • Experience supporting the Department of National Defence (DND) for material certification requirements and quality records
  • Experience with job records inspection, analysis, audit processes and reviewing technical documentation for compliance within quality assurance and material certification
  • Experience providing feedback for quality requirements and committed to process and continuous improvement
