Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining efficient production processes. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and develop technical expertise in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with CNC machinery, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Prior warehouse experience and proficiency with hand tools are a plus. The position is full-time and includes comprehensive training to support your success.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines with precision and adherence to specifications.
- Utilize Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to program, monitor, and troubleshoot machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Perform CNC programming adjustments as needed to optimize production quality and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain machinery including CNC equipment, welding stations, and other manufacturing tools.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the warehouse or production area.
- Assist in assembly processes and packaging finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment following safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues for prompt resolution.
Skills
- Proficiency with CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Experience operating Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Knowledge of welding techniques and press brake operations is desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for machining processes.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, packaging, and quality control standards.
- Warehouse experience is beneficial for material handling tasks such as forklift operation.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during setup and inspection tasks.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary. Pay: $16.17-$27.30 per hour
