Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and field service. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. The Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber will work on-site, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to handle complex plumbing tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks
  • Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction plumbing projects
  • Conduct remodeling, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems on-site
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with team members on construction site projects including carpentry, HVAC integration, and general remodeling tasks
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used during field service operations
  • Assist in pipe fitting, schematics interpretation, and system testing to ensure optimal performance

Skills

  • Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and remodeling
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems related to plumbing and HVAC
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and assembly processes
  • Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy machinery operation including commercial driving (if applicable)
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise installations
  • Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience in field service operations with a focus on maintenance or repair work
  • Maintenance Person experience or general construction background is a plus
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments requiring adaptability and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.54-$50.22 per hour
