Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and general construction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, technical expertise, and hands-on craftsmanship. The position involves working with a variety of tools and materials to deliver high-quality results across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, and tile laying with attention to detail
- Install cabinetry, flooring, drywall, and other finishing components using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct restoration work including caulking, painting, and surface preparation to meet project specifications
- Operate CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment as needed for custom fabrication tasks
- Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material requirements
- Execute heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment around job sites
- Install plumbing and electrical systems following safety standards and technical guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Strong knowledge of masonry, carpentry, woodworking, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing
- Ability to perform concrete forming, rebar installation, caulking, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and assembly tasks
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and manufacturing processes is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical instructions accurately
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Maintenance Person experience across multiple trades is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction estimating practices for project planning and resource management
