Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in making informed decisions about their beverage choices.
  • Provide outstanding product knowledge, including details about various wines, liquors, and beers.
  • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing transactions with a smile.
  • Keep the store shelves fully stocked and organized, ensuring a visually appealing display.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including the checkout area.
  • Comply with all relevant laws and company policies regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
  • Promote and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service preferred.
  • Knowledge and passion for alcoholic beverages, including wines, spirits, and beers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Alberta.
  • Must be able to work until 12:00am.
