As a Senior Financial Advisor, you'll manage a portfolio of members, helping them reach their financial goals through tailored advice and solutions. You'll provide a range of financial services and products, including consumer lending and mutual fund investments.

What You'll Do

Member Experience & Sales

  • Proactively identify financial goals and offer introductory financial planning
  • Provide products and services such as:
  • Memberships and accounts
  • Lines of credit
  • Consumer investments (including mutual funds)
  • Complex lending products
  • Credit cards
  • Registered products
  • Safety deposit boxes
  • Mobile banking solutions
  • Everyday banking needs
  • Conduct outreach to educate members and prospects on our offerings
  • Strengthen member relationships through referrals and follow-ups

Compliance & Organizational Support

  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
  • Follow security and operational policies and procedures
  • Balance opportunity and risk, growth and profitability (e.g., rate negotiation, fee subsidies)
  • Represent Conexus externally to grow membership and support system collaboration
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Provide support and backup to the retail team as needed

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in financial advisory roles
  • Background in customer service or care
  • Portfolio management experience
  • IFIC license and mutual fund sales experience (required)
  • Loan underwriting experience (required); loan approval experience is an asset
  • Personal Financial Services Associate designation or working toward it
  • Certified Financial Planner designation or working toward it

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $67,660 – $84,570
  • Short-Term Incentive Target: 10%
