What You'll Be Doing
- Tackle a diverse portfolio of projects from initial concepts through to final fabrication and implementation
- Lead engineering estimates, manage design budgets and schedules, and drive technical excellence while maintaining safety and quality
- Create and review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, equipment lists, calculations, reports, design criteria, and other documents
- Maintain and adhere to applicable codes, standards, regulations, and best practices for all projects
- Sign and Seal all final drawings, specifications, reports, and other documents prepared under your supervision
- Mentor junior engineers, share your expertise, and help shape the future of the Engineering department
- Coordinate with designers and the Fabrication Team to complete engineering projects
- Develop solutions for issues that arise during Fabrication or Construction
What You Bring to the Table
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility through APEGS
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or mining projects would be considered an asset
- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for turning complex challenges into practical solutions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset
- Ability to handle competing priorities simultaneously; work well under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times

- Competitive salary: $110,000-$150,000 annually based on qualifications and experience
