We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail management, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers while fostering a productive work environment for our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales strategies.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Handle recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members.
  • Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Manage pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members to promote collaboration and teamwork.
  • Monitor store performance metrics and assist in budgeting activities.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to enhance store visibility and attract customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding store management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and leadership.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective customer interaction.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping practices.
  • Experience with merchandising, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with training & development practices to enhance team performance.
  • Strong administrative experience with attention to detail in all tasks. Pay: $67,769.68-$75,528.43 per year
