Allard Home Care is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan. If you are a certified HCA who takes pride in helping others live safely, comfortably, and with dignity, we would love to hear from you.

We provide care for both elderly clients and a remarkable child with cerebral palsy, and are seeking someone with the heart, strength, and professionalism to support both types of care.

What We're Looking For

  • Certified Health Care Aide (HCA)
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Preference given to candidates living in Fort Saskatchewan
  • Physically strong and able to provide hands-on care
  • Warm, patient, and compassionate
  • Reliable and professional, with excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently with confidence and good judgment

About the Role

1. Elderly Client Support

Shift Schedule:

  • 7 days per week
  • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Duties include:

  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • General home support
  • Companionship and reassurance
  • Promoting a calm, safe, and respectful environment

2. Child Care Support (Cerebral Palsy)

Shift Schedule:

  • Two weekends per month: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Two evenings per week: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with mobility and positioning
  • Personal care support
  • Engaging the child in safe, meaningful activities
  • Providing attentive, consistent care while following family routines
  • Ensuring safety and comfort at all times
