Join Our Team as a Specialist, System & Analytics

Are you a Workday whiz with a passion for strategic projects? We're on the hunt for a Specialist, System & Analytics to become a vital part of our growing team. As a member of our People Analytics function, you will be instrumental in harnessing metrics from Workday to bolster Intact's HR strategy. Our mission? What you'll do here:

  • Coaching and Mentorship:
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on building advanced reports within Workday.
  • Enhance team proficiency in utilizing Workday's reporting capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel supported and motivated to learn and grow.
  • Report Development:
    • Assist in the design and implementation of complex reports tailored to the needs of various Centers of Excellence such as Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Payroll, etc
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions within Workday.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting solutions meet organizational needs.
  • Act as a liaison between the technical team and business units to facilitate clear communication and understanding of reporting capabilities and limitations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on Workday enhancements and best practices, integrating them into the team's reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies in reporting practices.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Strong focus on data governance, emphasizing its critical impact on organizational integrity, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of reports produced by the team.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in report development.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Develop and enhance Workday reporting, focusing on an organization-wide reporting strategy.
  • Automate HR data analysis by creating reports and compelling data visualizations.
  • Define key performance indicators and prepare dashboards to identify issues and support initiatives.
  • Conduct user training and manage change activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
  • Share your expertise and coach your teammates.
  • Gather and interpret complex reporting requirements across multiple functional areas.
  • Implement sophisticated reporting changes to meet evolving requirements.
  • Propose and execute sustainable reporting architectures and cross-functional solutions.

What you bring to the table:

  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analysis, business analysis, human resources, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or HR analytics.
  • Strong proficiency with Workday with proven experience with Workday reporting, including matrix, composite, and calculated field reports.

  • Exceptional data analysis, verification, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a knack for business presentations.
  • Ability to present operational challenges clearly and concisely and offer effective solutions.
  • Comfortable collaborating with all management levels and various stakeholders.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
